Miami Spa Months - Enjoy from the Comfort of Your Own Home

Miami natives know that from July 1 though August 31, some of Miami’s top hotels offer deals and special packages to entice clients into their spas during the summer. While a visit to one of these luxurious spas can be wonderful, what’s even better is having a half million-dollar spa in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Both of my new listings at the Regalia in Sunny Isles Beach have incredible spas that could rival that of any luxury hotel. The spa at the Beach House was created around an in-home ten-person Hammam Spa, and the Penthouse boasts an exquisite master bath spa, replete with a dedicated sauna and steam room, encased entirely in gold and rose-hued marble. Both spas could make even the most hard-to-please resident rejoice.

Beach House Hammam Spa

Beginning with the spa in the Beach House (above), anyone can benefit from the wide-ranging impacts of visiting a Hammam Spa. Some of the top health benefits of Hammam Spas are widely known, such as detoxification of the body, purification of the pores, and decreasing of the body’s muscle tension. However, a handful of the top reasons to visit a Hammam Spa (let alone having a private one in the comfort of your own home!) may not be common knowledge. For example, did you know that the effects of a Hammam Spa can regulate your body’s natural oil production, and thus prevent acne and other blemishes? The effects can also help reduce redness and greater inflammation throughout the body, in addition to boosting your immune system.

The particular Hammam Spa in the Regalia Beach House features bench space which can accommodate ten people, and is suspended above a bed of blonde river rock. Within the spa, there are oversize rain showers so you can rinse once you’ve finished.

No amenity that one would find at a world-class public spa was spared in creating this area for the Beach House. Before going into the Hammam Spa room, place your towel in the heating drawer to maximize the experience. Later on, take your towel off one of the heating rods and have a full five-star spa trip from the privacy and convenience of your own home.

Throughout this private area, there is a powder room, and an oversize shower with double rain heads and double body jets. Additionally, the space is equipped with a couples’ jacuzzi tub.

Penthouse Master Bathroom Spa

Never has there been a more luxe and beautifully designed master bathroom spa, that never fails to impress someone upon seeing it for the first time. The Penthouse’s master bathroom is laid with stunning white marble with rose and gold veins, and is estimated to be valued at a half million dollars.

In addition to its sheer beauty, the master bathroom is its own suite with every luxury imaginable. Beyond the his and hers water closets, the his and hers showers (with rain heads, body jets, and hand helds), both offer stunning views up the coastline via their glass exteriors. The walk-in his and hers closets feature custom setups with secure safes in each. Across from the showers is a couples’ vanity counter with a marble sink, and a separate makeup area with a wall-mounted pop-out illuminated mirror. In addition, there is a couples’ soaking tub with hydrotherapy and air treatment jets that allows for breathtaking views of the coastline and ocean. On a clear day, residents can see all the way to Fort Lauderdale from the soaking tub and showers.

As you make your way through the master bathroom, winding through the expansive marble, you’ll see the massage area as well as the private sauna and steam room. In the sauna, enjoy the light-hued wooden planks, illuminated by lights underneath – creating the perfect atmosphere for a late-night sauna experience while you’re gazing out at the Sunny Isles skyline.

To the right, the steam room is a decadent area erected only of marble, and features an oversize rain shower above to cool off after a long steam. As with the sauna, resplendent views of the skyline are visible from the marble steam room’s benches.

Once I toured these properties, I could say with certainty that the Beach’s House Hammam Spa and the Penthouse’s Master Bathroom Spa are the finest I’ve seen in my career as a top luxury real estate agent. Between the attention to detail, the high-end brands used, the aesthetics, and the benefit to residents, I couldn’t be any more excited for the eventual homeowners.

If there’s any doubt about the imperative for treating your body right and making allowances to ensure you’re taking care of yourself to the fullest, I’d like to share some anecdotal evidence from one of my favorite pro athletes, Tom Brady.
