Alan Zelcer, the CEO of menswear fashion group Isaco International, and Ruth Zelcer, his wife and the VP of merchandising, sold their Bal Harbour mansion for $12.2 million.
The home has six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and a staff quarters. The master suite measures 2,700 square feet with separate his-and-hers bathrooms and walk-in closets. It has 207 feet of waterfront along Biscayne Bay, a half basketball court, a pool and a guest house.
It was listed by Jeff Miller of Brown Harris Stevens Miami.
"This property is a once in a generation opportunity to acquire old world Florida glamour with breathtaking water views," Miller said. "The home’s size, the size of the lot and the amount of water frontage is phenomenal are a rare, very desirable triple threat. Thanks to Alan and Ruth's careful care for the home and land – including the original trees planted nearly 60 years ago – buyers would need to make very few updates."
